We are currently in the certification process for the European ECO seal and are constantly working to implement all measures even better. We thank you already now for supporting us in this process! How you can help us? Saving towels and bed linen, turning off lights that are not needed and not wasting water senselessly would be a way to do something good for nature and so, of course, for yourself!
WHAT WE DO FOR IT
We love our nature and also do everything we can, to keep it intact. We focus on many aspects of "green thinking" in our daily hotel life:
- We are constantly developing new sustainability concepts, which we also pass on to our guests with passion
- Our guests are informed about how they can help us do something good for nature
- It is our pleasure to communicate our gastronomic offer as much as possible, if you have any questions you can always contact our staff.
- We pay strict attention to our consumption and check it at regular intervals
- In addition, all equipment located at the Goldener Berg is regularly maintained and thus kept up to date
- Sustainability is a major concern for us, which is why we are constantly developing new concepts here, with regard to safety, biodiversity or quality.
BEING ECONOMICAL WITH RESOURCES
Nature teaches us something new every day, so naturally we try to listen to her and save her resources:
- We use renewable energies, for example, to heat water, cool rooms or keep them warm
- Water is not wasted at the Goldener Berg
- After some consideration, we have developed a waste management concept in order to separate waste properly
- Also in the construction of the Goldener Berg, it was important to us, to reduce noise pollution and have good air in the rooms
- The hygiene concept in the hotel and in the restaurants is very important for us, we use only environmentally certified products and avoid disposable products.
GOURMETS WITH ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
From nature to our guests, that is the motto in the restaurants and kitchens of the Goldener Berg:
- We obtain most of our food from local farmers
- BIO and regional products, where available, are our top priority
- The Lech tap water is a taste explosion in itself and tastes simply wonderful
- If you have any questions about the origin of various products, our employees will be happy to help you.
- We also take special care to order products with as little packaging as possible
- We also pay attention to little waste when it comes to food
