The body wants to be gently exercised, the mind becomes still in the face of the majestic mountains and the soul feels at home in nature. In Lech there are countless summer activities that delight the heart and bring the senses to life. Today we have summarised the most beautiful ones for you.

Hiking

The region around the hotel is one of the most extensive hiking areas in the Alps. The routes are excellently signposted and lead through beautiful mountain landscapes, past flowering alpine meadows and along crystal-clear mountain streams. In addition to the varied hiking routes, there are three themed trails that are worth exploring. The 125-kilometre "Lechweg" leads from Lech to Füssen through one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe and will delight long-distance hiking fans. The "Green Ring" gives an insight into a mystical world of mountains and legends, and on the "Tannberg" you can immerse yourself in the history of the region. Golfing

Golfing on Austria's highest golf course - the golf course in Zug, which opened in 2016, is a special highlight for all golf fans. The 9-hole course is perfectly embedded in the surrounding natural landscape and offers pure golfing pleasure on an area of 19 hectares. In the meantime, the golf course has become the venue for established tournaments such as the "Arlberg Classic Golf Cup". Other golf courses in the vicinity are located in Bludenz-Braz, Brand, Rankweil and Riefensberg (18 holes) as well as in Montafon-Zelfen and Partenen (9 holes).

Yoga

Oriental spirituality and gentle whole-body training in the midst of the beautiful mountain landscape of Vorarlberg - a combination that convinces all along the line. Be free, breathe deeply and find yourself - the nature around Goldener Berg offers the perfect setting for relaxing yoga sessions.

Fishing

A solid stock of local fish such as brown trout and rainbow trout as well as lake and brook trout make the region a popular fishing destination. The following waters are open to all fishermen:

Day tickets are available from Hejfish or at the Lech Zürs Tourism office. Hunting-appropriate behaviour and observance of the ban on fishing with barbed hooks are a prerequisite.

Forest swimming pool

The newly opened forest swimming pool delights the whole family. Since summer 2020, there has been a 25-metre-long sports pool, an aquafit pool with bubble loungers and massage jets, a children's pool, a baby pool and a wide wave slide. There are also table tennis, tennis and beach volleyball courts, a large children's playground and a kiosk.

Biking

On the Arlberg, a fine range of biking offers has become established. The focus is on diversity and variety, which is why the cycling region inspires beginners, advanced bikers and professionals alike. Cosy huts invite you to take a break and the bike infrastructure including bike rentals and interactive maps make the hearts of mountain bikers, e-bikers and freeride and enduro riders beat faster.

Trail running

Trail running is the absolute trend sport. Be free, feel nature with all your senses and test your own limits - 54 kilometres of pure running pleasure await sporty trail runners. The routes are varied and lead along forest and woodland paths, over beautiful riverside paths and soft meadows. An additional health boost: with us you train at an altitude of over 1,500 metres!

Barbecue

Another special feature that the region around the hotel has to offer are the barbecue areas that are open to the public.
