But begin your fishing trip with a pleasant walk: you get to the fishing lake in about 45 min from Lech. The path takes you along the Lech river, perfect to get you in the mood for a restful day at the waterside.
Fishing on holiday: at the fishing lake in Lech you can not only catch your fish, but also prepare them to eat straight away. The Fischerstüble right next to the lake specialises in marinated trout and smoked trout. Your fish are smoked over a special mixture of wood and served hot. Of course, you’re welcome to enjoy your catch in the exclusive atmosphere of the Hotel Goldener Berg: simply let the chefs of the award-winning restaurant know, and we will happily serve you your fresh fish.
- There are no fees to pay at the Lech fishing lake
- The amount you pay depends on the weight of the fish you catch
- Fresh trout and Saibling, roasted or smoked: the anglers’ catch can be prepared at the cosy Fischerstüble with its large sun terrace next the lake
- Complete fishing equipment for hire
- Plenty of parking
Perhaps you'd like to swap the certainty of a catch in the fishing lake with a bit more luck and adventure. The nearby Formarinsee and Spullersee mountain lakes are easily reachable from the Goldener Berg on foot, by mountain bike, or hikers' bus. Please ask our staff at the Hotel Goldener Berg reception. They will happily tell you about the fishing conditions at the various places.
Fishing permits for the Formarinsee and the Spullersee lakes are obtainable from the tourist office Lech Zürs, or in the Formarin Alpe, the toll office in Zug, or at the Lech fishing lake. We will happily help you with any formalities.
