Ice sports offers on the Arlberg
Winter holidays at their best
Guests can enjoy various ice sports during their winter holiday on the Arlberg. In Zürs there is a natural ice rink for open-air ice skating. In addition, traditional curling is a popular activity that has been practised since the 16th century and offers guests the opportunity to experience an old tradition in a fun way.
Iceskating in Lech
Perform a double Rittberger, or maybe just a few leisurely laps gliding across the ice. Whatever it is that attracts you to the ice, Arlberg is the place for it: in the middle of Zürs there is a natural ice rink on which to turn your pirouettes from 15:00 – 20:00 from Sunday to Friday.
Social get-together with curling on the Arlberg
In the 1930s, the sport was so successful that it became an Olympic discipline.
There is a natural ice rink in the centre of Zürs against the snowy mountain backdrop. From Sunday to Friday between 15:00 and 20:00, the surface can be used for curling. A glass of mulled wine, a hearty snack and hearty laughter - the sociable cross-country shooting is a particularly amusing pleasure in the open air.
Although curling is no longer an Olympic sport, the real value of curling lies in coming together, talking and laughing.
Round off the day with a cosy meal
When the lights go out on the ice rink, it's time to return to the Golden Mountain above the rooftops of Lech. The cable car takes you up to 1,750 metres above sea level, where you are greeted by the delicious aroma of BEING HOME. Our team from the gourmet kitchen will tempt you with enchanting temptations - after spending time in the fresh air, you'll be craving something savoury, refreshing and delicate.
