First summer opening of the Seekopfbahn lift
Comfortable start to the 2nd stage of the Green Ring using the Seekopfbahn lift.
In June 2010, "The Green Ring" theme trail opened in Lech Zürs. A lot has happened since then. With its first summer opening, the Seekopfbahn lift makes it easier for you to start the 2nd stage.
The Seekopfbahn lift: It will operate from 01.07.2023 to 03.10.2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Mondays. The Seekopfbahn lift is included in the Lech Card and is thus an additional benefit that you can enjoy during the summer in Lech.
The Seekopfbahn lift makes it much easier to reach the following experience points on this route:
Lake Zürsersee
With its emerald-green mirror and the floating jetty, which invites you to linger and walk round. While a beautiful view of Lech opens up on the east, the picturesque surroundings can be admired on the west. Simply a place to take a moment and enjoy.
Madloch
With its breathtaking and impressive high alpine landscape – once shaped by a glacier that left its mark here.
Madlochjoch
The highest point of this stage – with the summit book and the post box. Here, you can write your impressions or a souvenir card for someone in the family.
The Giant
At the Stierlochjoch, which is sure to be delighted to see every single visitor. And what he gets up to is described in the saga in the book “Ein Samurai am Kriegerhorn” ("A Samurai on the Kriegerhorn").
